Legislation

Animal experiments are performed in accordance with the procedures from the Norwegian Commission for Laboratory Animals, the European Convention for the Protection of Vertebrates Used for Scientific Purposes (EU Directive 2010/63/EU for animal experiments), and the ethical standards given in the Declaration of Helsinki of 2008, and approved by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, in an AAALAC accredited animal facility.
